12 Days of Giving Deserving Duo 2017 Sweepstakes OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. Void in Quebec and where prohibited by law. By participating in this sweepstakes, participant agrees to these Official Rules.

2. Sweepstakes Period: The La-Z-Boy 12 Days of Giving 2017 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins November 25, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends December 6, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). There will be twelve (12) separate prize periods during the Sweepstakes Period (each, a “Prize Period”). The prize periods begin at 12:00:01 AM ET on November 25, 2017 and end at 11:59:59 PM ET on each day of the Sweepstakes Period. . PLEASE NOTE: Each prize will only be available for winning only during its respective Prize Period. Entries submitted past the expiration of the Sweepstakes Period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of La-Z-Boy Incorporated (the “Sponsor”), and each of its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members [spouse, parents, children, siblings] and individuals residing in the same household [whether or not related] of such employees, officers, and directors) are not eligible to participate or win.

4. How to Enter: Visit http://promotions.la-z-boy.com/12DaysDuoSweepsSC (the “Page”), during the Sweepstakes Period, and follow the online instructions to enter. Additionally, each participant shall have the option to nominate a friend to enter the sweepstakes and win the same prize as participant by providing nominee’s e-mail address and phone number. Nomination of a friend is optional, and if not made only participant will be eligible for prize. Participation is subject to disqualification of all entries if multiple accounts are used by the same person. Limit: Each participant may enter once per day during the Sweepstakes Period. Use of any macro, bot, script or other automated means to submit entries is prohibited. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a “day” is defined as a 24-hour period, beginning at 12:00 a.m. ET and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET. All entries must be completed and submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET during each Prize Period to be eligible for that day’s prize. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by entrants’ online service will apply.

EARN ADDITIONAL ONLINE ENTRIES: After you have entered via the Page, you may earn an additional entry each Prize Period by publicly posting a photograph of you and your nominee on Instagram with the hashtag #HOMEments. An Instagram account is free of charge and is required to post a photo to Instagram. To obtain an Instagram account visit https://instagram.com.

The posted photograph is referred to as an “Entry Photo,” and when submitted in the Sweepstakes, the Entry Photo. Your Instagram account and Entry Photo must be set to “public” for Sponsor to see it and to have it entered in the Sweepstakes. No entries may be submitted on behalf of another person. BY PARTICIPATING IN ANY ASPECT OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES AND THE RULES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES OF THE SERVICE(S) SUCH ENTRANT USES TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE INSTAGRAM PLATFORM (each such service and the Instagram platform is referred to as a “Platform”). FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE RULES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES OF THE PLATFORMS WILL VOID AN ENTRANT’S ENTRY IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.

All Entry Photos must be suitable for family audiences. Any Entry Photo that, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, is unsuitable, may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. In the event that an Entry Photo is edited, removed and/or disqualified, entrant is not relived from responsibility for compliance with these Official Rules.

Entrants and winners acknowledge and agree that Sponsor has the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, promote and otherwise use or not use (or remove) Entry Photos in any way it sees fit without notification or further consent or payment of any kind.

5. Prize Random Drawing:

There will be a total of twelve (12) Prize Winners (each, a “Grand Prize Winner”) in the Sweepstakes, along with an additional twelve (12) prizes awarded for each Prize Winner’s nominee (if applicable). Prize Winners will be determined by a series of random drawings (each, a “Random Drawing”) from among all eligible Entries received during each Prize Period. The Random Drawings will take place on or about the following dates, or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable:

• November 28, 2017

Non-winning entries will not roll over to subsequent Random Drawings, and entrant must enter during each Prize Period in order to be eligible to win that day’s prize. The Random Drawing will be conducted by a representative of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Each potential Prize Winner and their nominee (if applicable) will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email using the contact information given on the entry. The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the number of eligible Sweepstakes entries received during each day of the Sweepstakes Period.

Total maximum ARV of all Prizes in this Sweepstakes: $24,464.00 USD.

If the actual value of the prize is less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded. Odds of winning any prize depends on the number of eligible entries received during each Prize Period. There is no cash equivalent, and all prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Sponsor will provide each Prize Winner and their nominee, if applicable, with an IRS Form 1099, if required, reflecting the actual final retail value of the Prize, or such other governmental tax forms that may be necessary, as determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor.

7. General Rules: Prize is nontransferable and no substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value. Each Prize Winner will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility (or Declaration of Compliance if Canadian winner), and liability/publicity release (where legal) within seven (7) days of notification attempt. If a potential winner does not respond within seven (7) days after the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected (in which case that potential winner’s nominee shall also forfeit any potential prize). Upon acceptance of a prize by a Prize Winner, that Prize Winner’s nominee, if applicable, will be contacted by email or phone and requested to accept his/her nomination and entry into the Sweepstakes by executing and returning an affidavit of eligibility (or Declaration of Compliance if Canadian winner), and liability/publicity release (where legal) within seven (7) days of notification attempt, to the extent not prohibited by law. Noncompliance by nominee may result in disqualification of the nominee’s portion of the prize. Affidavit or Declaration package will be sent via email. If a winner is a Canadian resident, he/she must answer unaided a time-limited arithmetic skill-testing question as a condition to receiving the prize. Winners and all entrants, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, agents, assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of prize awarded or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of the prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in the Sweepstakes or use or redemption of the prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering, entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. Entries will be declared to be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry (or when setting up winner’s account). “Authorized account holder” of an e-mail address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access provider, Online Service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates the Official Rules; acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes. Entries generated by script or bot are not eligible. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it cannot be completed as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or corruption of any sort. In such event, Sponsor will award the prize in a random drawing from eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Void where prohibited by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees that: 1) under no circumstance will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses; 2) all causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and 3) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event will entrant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs.

8. Privacy: All personal information that Entrants submit will be subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy. In the event of any discrepancy between Sponsor’s privacy policy and these Official Rules, the privacy policy will govern and control.
